Master file maintenance includes all the functionality to add, change or delete master file record details for templates, GL accounts, budgets, departments, T accounts, classes and financial years. You can also copy departments. This functionality is available via the FILE menu options.

The general configuration of account structure must be established before you enter any account details. Items to be considered include digits in department and account, and sub-account if applicable. The default field separator is a hyphen. A custom field separator may also be used.
